Privacy Policy

PKROM Software Hub ("PKROM", "we", "us") provides PKROM Khata, a business accounting, stock, sales, invoice, cashbook and backup service. This policy explains what information we handle, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: business name, user name, email address, login and security records.
• Business records: customer, supplier, stock, sale, invoice, purchase, expense and cashbook information entered by an authorized user.
• Technical information: device/browser details, IP address, timestamps, error and audit logs used for security and service operation.
• Google account information: when you connect Google Drive, we receive the Google account email address and OAuth authorization needed to provide backups.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service, authenticate users, process business records, create reports and backups, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, diagnose errors and meet legal obligations.

3. Google Drive data

Google Drive connection is optional. PKROM Khata requests the drive.file permission so it can create and manage only the encrypted backup files and folder created through PKROM Khata. The service does not request access to unrelated Drive files.

OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored securely and are used only to create, upload, download, retain or remove PKROM Khata backup files at the user's request or according to enabled backup settings. Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with third parties except as necessary to provide or secure this feature or where required by law.

PKROM Khata's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Storage, security and retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. Backup files are encrypted before storage. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so users should protect their credentials and recovery keys. Records are retained while the account is active and as needed for backup retention, security, dispute resolution and legal requirements.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by hosting, email, security, payment or infrastructure providers strictly to operate the service. We may disclose information when legally required or to protect users, PKROM, or the public.

6. Your choices and rights

You may review or update account information within PKROM Khata. You can disconnect Google Drive from the Dual Backup page and can revoke PKROM Khata access from your Google Account permissions. You may request account or personal-data deletion by contacting us, subject to legal and security retention requirements.

7. Children's privacy

PKROM Khata is a business service and is not directed to children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. The latest version and effective date will remain available on this page.
